For sale is a rare 1977 Pontiac Can Am. These performance cars were made for one year only and a limited number of only1377 were produced. This particular model is one of only 44 built with the 403 engine for delivery to California. The drive train is completely numbers matching and is original to this vehicle. It is highly optioned as you can see by the original window sticker. The car has been significantly restored with fresh paint and stripes by the previous owner. The transmission was recently rebuilt and runs great. The suspension has been renewed and it handles much like new. The interior is in great shape and is firethorne red with bucket seats,console with auto shifter,the most prized of the CanAms as many came with black bench seats and a column shifter.
I would conservatively place this car in a #3+ condition,but it could easily be classified by as #2. I only hold it back from a #2 due to the fact that the original engine has never been apart and it is starting to show gasket leaks, But other than that,it is a good solid car.
