Hello, I'm in the Army and am getting deployed soon. I'd love to keep and finish restoring this GTO but have too much going on. If it doesn't sell close to asking price I will restore it upon returning. Send me your number and I will call you to answer any questions. Thank you

70 GTO (not a Judge) V8 455 CID engine, automatic transmission. Runs and drives strong. I have the PHS documents and the clean/clear Indiana title to transfer. I bought this GTO in November of 2017 with plans on a complete restoration. I had a mechanic shop start mechanical repairs to get it running in good order. I have receipts for the work and parts. If you do bodywork or can have the body and interior finished at a decent price, this is a great opportunity.
Many new parts were installed in March of this year that includes the following:

-new steering box
-front brake conversion to disc
-new master cylinder and brake booster
-new brake lines
-new rear brakes
-new gas tank and lines
-new Edelbrock carburetor and air cleaner
-plugs, wires and distributor
-radiator and hoses
-alternator and voltage regulator
-most of the front suspension has been replaced; tie rods, ball joints, etc
-new springs and shocks
*Please notice in photos, the front sits lower, this is due to shorter springs and the brake conversion kit. It may cause minor rubbing while turning, It may need to be raised 1-2"
As the photos show, you will need to restore the body and interior. Don't hesitate to ask any question.

DOES IT HAVE RUST? The passenger quarter panel, deck lid, passenger floor pan all have rust that I recommend replacing. The frame has surface rust but showed as solid. As known, when you break down most old cars, you will find other issues that needs restored.

The body panels that I found needing replaced is:
-trunk deck lid-passenger quarter panel-passenger side floor pan

Parts are reasonable and can be found here on eBay and classic car websites.

This is an old car that runs good, you may find more issues in person that I have not noticed. 2 tires have slow leaks. I have explained as much as possible about this car

Parts that I have purchased and are included with the sale are:
-new AC condenser and compressor-black floor carpet-black headliner

On Aug-07-18 at 13:38:21 PDT, seller added the following information:

The car was originally a manual transmission that has been converted to automatic. I do NOT have the original manual transmission parts.

When new suspension parts were added, the front end was lowered than normal, this causes the tires to rub the wheel well while driving. I recommend raising the front end to normal height.

The car does run and sounds great, the tires and wheels are in bad shape, two 2 tires have slow leaks, the car will need towed or hauled.

*The car will need a full restoration. You will need to sand most of the car down and replace a few panels. Both quarter panels have surface rust or minor rust holes, the passenger floor board has a rust hole. The windshield has a crack on the upper left side. Don't hesitate to ask any question before bidding, I want to ensure you are comfortable with you bid. As known, old cars reveal more issues as you peel layers of the onion back.

I have the clear Indiana Title and PHS documents in hand. Please email me with any additional questions before bidding.
