1982 Pontiac Trans Am Additional Info:

Purchased this vehicle 2003, needed an engine, had a 305 with a four speed manual transmission, purchased a crate 350 from Jegs, installed that with a 5 speed manual transmission. Replaced the entire interior, installed an incredible sound system, speakers, amps and subs. All work completed September 2004. Everywhere I drove, people took pictures, offered to buy it. I loved it. My job limited me to have little free time, so between my home, family, etc. Time flew by; Trans Am sat in driveway for years, driving it very little all these years. The engine probably has about 1000 miles on it. I did not re-register or continue insurance about two years ago. So, now today, it needs a new paint job, a new radio (I can’t find the face to the unit that is in there) speakers and amps are fine. I disconnected the heater core as it started to leak. I took out the a/c system when I put the engine in for better performance. So, this car needs work, depending what your plans would be for it. I paid about $2400 for the crate motor, $3000 for body and paint work, $750 for interior work and $1500 for the sound system. Added GTA wheels, new tires, they have a lot of tread. The exhaust is straight pipes. The quarter panels were replaced before I purchased it, I believe they came from a Cutlass. My loss is your gain.Any questions please ask. 516-242-2990 Dennis
