1968 Pontiac Firebird Original HO Additional Info:
This is a no disappointment Georgia vehicle. I've been collecting cars for over 30 years and this rare 68 Firebird is one of the most beautiful vehicles I've ever seen. Every inch of it has been babied.
The original owner bought it in Inglewood, California where it lived the first half of it's life garaged. The second owner has had it for 25 years in Covington, Ga - he was an active member in the Pontiac enthusiasts groups of Georgia and carefully cared for her until recently deciding to sell her as a part of his retirement plan.
This vehicle is 100% rust free with one repaint 12 years ago.
It has an upgraded stereo.
recently (3,000 miles ago) rebuilt smallblock 400 that runs excellent.
It's mated to a turbo 350 transmission that shifts perfectly.
The interior and exterior lines are solid and everything is tight with no rattles or missing pieces.
She cranks right up and drives straight down the road with no fuss.
The tach and all gauges work.
The glass, rubber and everything is as new.
It is a gorgeous specimen. The pictures tell the story. There are some imperfections in the paint that you would expect in a 12 year old paint job, but unless you plan to do concourse inspections - this is one hell of a show and go vehicle that you can be very proud of. The under carriage is as clean as the interior and engine bay. I welcome any visits to inspect her before purchasing. You can buy this vehicle and drive it home across state lines with no concern about reliability. I would trust it to go anywhere.
Please note that Georgia doesn't issue titles on classic cars, so it comes with a Georgia bill of sale and proof of current Georgia registration.
