1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Additional Info:

Survivor!!! All original numbers matching 1979 301 c.i.d 4-bbl V8 (L37) Atlantis Blue (24) Trans Am w/T-Top and four-speed manual transmission. Car runs and drive. All gauges, lights and accessories are working with the exception of the passenger power window and the emergency brake. Solid car, the body is straight. Only superficial rust on the body due to the car been exposed to weather conditions in CA for a year (per previous owner). Nothing mayor, see photos. Car is all original, never been on an accident nor been painted per previous owners. I bought this car about a year back from the 2nd owner as a personal project to work over the weekends but due to life situations now I have to let it go. This car has a clean California title and it’s been in CA since brand new until a year ago when I bought it.The car now is located in Houston TX.

This is a very Rare car, per TransAmWorld.com there were 117,108 trans am produced in 1979 and out of those only 1,530 were built with the 301 (4.9L) T-top and a four-speed manual transmission package. Based on the Vin and Body Decoders this is a Pontiac Trans AM 2 Door coupe w/ T-Top 301 c.i.d 4-bbl V8 (L37) manufactured at the Norwood Assembly Plant in June 1979 (06A - 1st week June).

To make it even better, this car has the factory shaker hood which is just so cool and the color combination is really unique (Exterior: Code 24 Atlantis Blue – Interiors: Black patterned cloth).

The car came with the following factory options: Power Windows, Fisher T-top, Bucket Seats, A/C, blue Phoenix Graphix and a few more. The trunk is also quite original and features factory mats and what appears to be an unused space saver spare with inflator kit and jack.
