This beautiful GTO symbolizes the true American Muscle Car. Pontiac gets credit for creating the muscle car in the early 60's with the 64, 65, and 66 GTO becoming the quintessential screamers. Nothing compared to the GTO stance, body line, and its tri-power 389 4-speed that lite-up the streets and drag strips throughout the country in its heyday.
This GTO is way beyond what you normally see advertised and sold as a clean driver. it is presented with a fully rebuilt engine and drivetrain including a frame-up restoration. True refreshed with a host of new replacement features that make this a premium driving muscle car. This GTO was born a 4-barrel automatic. But, to add real muscle, its carb and trans were replaced with a date-coded manifold-tri-power set-up and 4 speed transmission including Hurst Linkage.
Let's talk about what enhanced this GTO's appearance and its superb driving experience. For starters, the GTO was painted several years ago providing a beautiful Fontaine blue color. A strong wet sand and buff produced this smooth bright finish you see in the accompanying photos. The vinyl top was replaced with a new quality black vinyl top to enhance the light blue (Fontaine) body color. In addition, the following list illustrate what makes this car a standout muscle car.
