1984 Pontiac Firebird Additional Info:
UNFORTUNATELY I MUST DROP THE PRICE OF KITT BECAUSE ILL BE MOVING SOON AND CANNOT TAKE HIM WITH ME.Not sure why it says TITLE issue. The title is in my name, KITT is licensed and registered. This has been a wonderful project of mine for about 4 years now. Unfortunately I am moving and cannot take KITT with me.. I had him painted around 3-4 years ago so the AZ sun has done some fading and paint chipping (it was a 2,000 paint job with the mirror finish and clear coat). Will need paint touched up or another paint job. The front bumper was installed along with the scanner that works with a toggle switch iinside. The windows were tinted, ihe has the blackout panel over the back lights that is attached with Velcro. Gullwing steering wheel was also installed. The rims were purchased used. The two bowling ball hubcaps are zip tied on and were custom made. The engine is a 305 and needs a lot of love. New radiator installed about 2 years ago. There is an oil leak as there is a puddle underneath. When the air conditioning was installed the place put 4 little dimple dings on the hood that I tried showing in the pics. The air is currently not working. KITT was running decent and I got to drive him here and there but he is running very Sluggish and keeps stalling now so I haven’t driven him in a couple months. Not sure the actual mileage as I’m not sure the odometer is accurate . When I purchased him it was around 67,000 supposedly.Engine needs a mechanically inclined person to play around with him. There’s also an electrical issue because the battery always gets drained. I bought a new battery and leave it unhooked now. Lots of time, money and love were put into KITT and it saddens me that I cannot finish him. When I bought him there was no exhaust pipes or anything and I also had all that installed a couple years ago for about 1,100 dollars. My best highlight was driving him to a Supernatural Convention and getting to park next to Baby (1967 Impala From the show). KITT will need to be trailered as he’s not able to drive away right now. He will need lots of TLC to get running and to be finished. Buyer must pay for and arrange shipping. Deposit required within 24 hours and full payment must be received with 3 days. Vehicle will need to be picked up within a couple days after purchase.Bank wire or cashier check will work and KITT of course cannot leave until full payment is received and clears my bank. Please ask any questions and I’ll try to answer them to the best of my knowledge.
