1967 Pontiac Le Mans Additional Info:

This car has been in my family for almost 27 years. In 2013, a full ground up, rotisserie restoration was started. All damaged and rusty sheetmetal was replaced and the entire car was painted a '69 GM Lemans metallic blue, top and bottom. The stock suspension was completely rebuilt as well as the brakes, and many upgrades were added that are too numerous to list.
For power, a 2001 LS1 engine (with 38k miles) and matching automatic transmission was dropped in place, and a ton of money spent on the exhaust system, cooling system, and fuel system.
The interior received the same treatment with new white seat upholstery, a new white vinyl top, new Dakota Digital gauges and Painless wiring harness. There are receipts in excess of $43,000 spent on this car, and there are some spare and extra parts that will go with it.
The car runs and drives, but unfortunately my husband passed away before everything was completely finished and hooked up. So there will be some tweaking and adjusting and final assembly needed before the car can be driven safely on the highway. To be more specific, there needs to be some wiring hookups finished, as well as A/C plumbing, and some final fitting of various body panels, etc. The trunk is solid, primed and ready for whatever configuration you desire but it is not finished/carpeted.
NOTE: The car will need to be trailered away due to safety concerns: brakes need bled, spark plug wires need adjusted off headers, speedometer needs calibrated, etc. The car is 90% finished but it's the final touches that need attention to make it road worthy.
This car was featured on the Gearz TV show, hosted by Stacey David. Look for Season 10, Episode 3. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2voRW78EfM)
As you can see by the pictures and the Gearz episode, this car is super clean and solid, and an incredible bargain for the person looking for a project car where virtually everything is already done! This car was the pride and joy of a genuine car guy, and now it needs to go to another car person to be enjoyed. (Sorry I didn't get the raised white letters cleaned before I took the pictures; Dennis would hate that I did that.)
DISCLAIMER: This is obviously not an "all original car" with the original power plant and I know that. Some people are turned off that this car has an LS1 engine in it. This car is not a good fit for a car "flipper" but rather for someone who loves it for what it is. The first stop when this car was completed was going to be Holley's LS Fest in Bowling Green KY. Unfortunately, Dennis died before that dream came true. He wanted something with better gas mileage that he could drive around to car shows on a frequent basis. He wanted the power and reliability of fuel injection.
The car has been stored inside my garage, covered with a custom California Car Cover, and treated with the utmost care. I'll try and answer any and all questions as accurately as possible, but unfortunately there was a lot done to this car during the build up that I just don’t know about. So look the pictures over carefully and I'll do my best to answer your questions.
INCLUDED: The car (obviously), all receipts that I have been able to gather, the California custom fit plush car cover, a USB/thumb drive off all the pictures and videos I can find of this car in its various stages of being rebuilt over the past 27+ years, and all ORIGINAL and spare parts I can find.
