For auction is a very restorable 53 Pontiac Cheifton 2dr h/t. Two blue with black interior. Straight 8 with hydromatic. As is the car is a good go to the hot dog stand or drive in on a Friday or Saturday night or just to the local cruise in. This is not a show car for the simple fact it was an amateur budget restoration sum 30 years ago but yet is presentable enough to drive. The car does run good, shifts great, and steers and stops just as it should. Reproduction radial wide white walls with great tread. Mechanically the car is sound but the rest is restorable. All chrome and potential pieces will need restored and rechromed. Does show signs of body filler along with a couple floor patches. The tinted indows are not busted or cracked but do have some delamination. Car will need weather strips. Interior is all there except for the sill plates and left rear upper trim panel. All headliner bows and trim are there. Even the courtesy lights still work. Sorry. Radio does not but could just be speaker for it does light up that it's on. Frame and chassis is not rusty and car makes no noises while driving down the road. Has original owner's manual, body, and serial number tags along with original keys.
