Up for bid is a 1966 Bonneville two door coupe. The exterior color is white and the interior is "fawn", cashmere or champagne. It is powered with a 389 V8 and Turbo 400 transmission. I have owned the car for approximately 4 years, and I have spent my time and money making the car drive and handle like it should. Just a few things that I have done include a complete brake job; master cylinder, booster, wheel cylinders, shoes, etc. The fuel system has been restored; new tank, sending unit, rebuilt carb, lines, and a new battery. Of course, the car has been completely serviced including new belts and hoses. Also, I have repaired the floor pans, added sound deadening(fat mat), new carpet, new headliner, new package ray, and cleaning/painting. The next step should be to move to the exterior; painting and rechroming, would push the car to the top. My original goal was to get the Bonneville driving, handling, and stopping; which it does very well. I have a 1966 Catalina donor car for an extra $500 ( no engine or transmission) to help the next owner finish the restoration.
