1967 Pontiac Tempest Custom Additional Info:
1967 Pontiac TempestIt has a freshly built balanced, ported and blueprinted engine. 1965 GTO 389 block bored out to 400 with Keith Black pistons, 1964 GTO Tripower 716 heads, 1964 GTO Tripower intake, the carbs are all rebuilt, the outer ones were rebuilt with larger venturi than the stock 1964. Stage 3 crower solid flat tappet camshaft. All built by mattscustomauto.com. Front suspension has CPP tubular control arms upper and lower. Rear suspension was tempest wagon springs. Auburn posi 3.08 differential with a saginaw 3.50 1st gear transmission. It has a cooling wizard aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. I have a stock fan for air conditioning with a fan clutch if you want to convert it back. Pertronix electronic ignition, distributor curved for all in at 2300 rpm. 2 1/2" exhaust dynomax h-type crossover with stock exhaust manifolds. The car needs a top, motor and seals. It has minor rust on the rear fender edges, trunk, windshield and drivers floor. I have 11000 in the motor, 1000 in the manual conversion, 700 in the front end, 1000 in differential and 8000 is what I paid for the car. I am the third owner. It would make a good GTO Clone.
