1964 Pontiac Le Mans LeMans Additional Info:

Starts-runs and drives excellent. Engine and transmission feel great, car brakes and stops very well.
This may be the most original, unmodified out there. No body or paint work done, some surface rust on hood, extremely clean and solid floors, and frame. only rust in floor is trunk floor on top of gas tank. The carhas the original engine, transmission, and rear end. intake manifold, 2bbl carb, and single exhaust all unmodified and on the car. Interior is all original, with stock radio in place as well as original steering wheel with working horn. All gauges and light, signals and warning lights functioning. door panels have moisture damage, driver bucket seat bottom has tears, rest of interior has no rips, top of rear seat is not even cracked. headliner in good shape as well as dome light. plastic trim around headliner and rear deck dried and cracked. dash pad nearly perfect, as are gauges and panel.
Perfect candidate for GTO clone, or for body swap in a rotted out junk GTO
It was purchased new from local Pontiac dealer brand new, and sold to friend sometime in the 70's. Car was parked in garage where it sat until 2/2017 in 1982 for unknown reason. Upon purchase, I found broken rear shock, that had damaged rear brake line, which is what I believe caused brake failure andthe damage to the front end and reason car was parked.
I do have the original manual with protecto plate, as well as a couple receipts for repairs. there is a receipt for engine "refurbish" from 1979, but it appears to have been a valve job only from what I can tell looking at it, as well as a receipt for a starter replacement in 1980.
I have clean title, it is currently registered and insured for 12K with the original black plates. ( it took me 6 months and hours at DMV to keep the original plates on the car without registering as vanity plates (YOM))
I have driven the car on two fairly long trips with no issues, one 130 mile round trip to the antelope valley, and 140 mile round trip to one to a car show in Pomona. the car cruises comfortably at 65-70MPH and averaged a touch under 17 MPG.
Here is a list of repairs completed to get the car on the road
> Brakes- replaced damaged hardline on rear axle, all new brake hoses, all new wheel cylinders, new master cylinder. fresh fluid. brakes work great
> Fuel system- new gas tank and sender, replaced all rubber fuel lines, new fuel pump, rebuilt original carburetor, new air filter.
> New spark plugs, spark plug wires and cleaned points ( have a new set of points that go with the car
> drained rear end, replaced passenger side axle seal and put fresh gear oil in
> installed new rear shocks
> full tranny service, new filter, pan gasket and fluid
>flushed engine oil, new filter and oil. ( just changed again since the two trips and 300+ miles as recommended by engine flush.
> replaced any burnt bulbs
> has original T3 headlights, all but one high beam functioning
