1986 Pontiac Trans Am Additional Info:
1986 Pontiac Trans Am in great condition, priced to sell. Runs great, the four speed automatic transmission shifts perfectly, all original and numbers matching. T-Tops in perfect shape, interior showing slight wear on the drivers seat, otherwise perfect. Mechanically sound, no rust, all options function as designed and work properly. Tilt, A/C, cruise, fog lights, hideaway lights, power close rear hatch (power closes hatch once latched), t-top bags included & they store the tops properly in the rear. Drive this car anywhere. The engine compartment is immaculate, new battery this year. Car was repainted prior to my purchasing it, it's a great paint job & the original color. Glass is in excellent condition. Undercarriage is extremely clean.
New tires on the the original Trans Am wheels, all center caps intact. The tires are great and this thing handles extremely well. The 5.0 Litre 305 Four Barrel engine performs well and is peppy, all original including through to the dual outlet exhaust, with a healthy exhaust note. The steering wheel, dash, door panels, door pockets, carpet, floor mats and Trans Am dash pocket are excellent. The console has the optional cassette tape rack, which lifts out to give more console room, if desired. The original factory radio (with EQ and Cassette Player) is out for a complete refurbishing at Doctor Dons in Texas, they do a great job with factory radio rebuilds to original specs. The radio will be reinstalled prior to delivery.
There are small scuffs on the right rear bumper and one very small one on the front bumper. This happens with low profile cars sometimes and this is the only damage on the car. There is one small blemish on the drivers door near the lock mechanism. None of these blemishes are noticeable from any distance and the car always attracts a lot of attention at local shows. Hagerty Valuation was used for pricing this car, it lists at $13,600 in #2 Condition (Excellent). I have the full report for anyone interested. I have generously adjusted the starting bid price to consider the paint repairs this car will eventually need, and a new OEM seat cover for the drivers seat. Otherwise, this car low mileage all original car is a #2 all day long. I have other pictures of the car that are available for an interested bidder. Ask any questions before placing a bid. The car comes with a nice car cover.
Priced to sell and it is being sold as is. Cash or Certified Funds must be received and cleared prior to releasing the car for transport. No overseas bidders. Get your wife's, dogs or whoever you need permission from before bidding. Don't jerk me around or try to scam me. I reserve the right to cancel any bids from bidders with little or no feedback, or negative feedback. Will sell to Canadian buyers. Buyers are responsible for making all shipping arrangements, including but not limited to customs, tariffs, fees, etc. I will make sure the car is available but I warn you that I do travel some for work. Check my feedback, I am an honest seller.
