1966 Pontiac Le Mans Additional Info:
1966 Pontiac Lemans Convertible w/GTO badging. Original 326 V8 with Original 3 speed Automatic transmission.
Some tasteful restomod upgrades. Upgrades include Edelbrock Carb, Intake, Valve Covers & Air Cleaner. Hotchkis suspension including front springs, sway bar, trailing arm, & rear sway bar. Staggerd Coy wheels, 20" on back & 18" on front. CD player in place of original radio. Magna Flow exhaust sounds amazing!
This has been my daily driver for the past 4 years. Turns heads at every corner. Runs beautifully, shifts smoothly. I have driven from coast to coast.
PS, PB. Interior seats, carpet, dash all excellent. All glass is excellent. All blinkers, lights, gauges work fine.
Could use tires & a new top (Newer 4 year old motor & lines for top are fine). Bubbling on lower doors, back panels, inside trunk floor & front window edging. Some surface rust on bumbers. Some pitting on door handles, mirrors. Only gremlin is that occasionaly when you turn the key nothing happens, like the battery is dead. But it's not the battery. Turn it again & it starts up. So I'm not sure what it is. Outside antenna broke off. See pictures for these items.
I bought it as a driver, to just enjoy as it is, drive it anywhere & share it with everybody. A great candidate to cherry out. Ready to enjoy as it is & fix up over time. You're always a little bit of a rock star when you drive classic American Pontiac Muscle. I'm on to a '65 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible, my high school ride. Ragtop Pontiacs, nothing like it.
