This 1963 Bonneville convertible started life in Pennsylvania. The broker I purchased this from 4 years ago told me this. "A single mother of 2 teenage sons was preparing to order her a new car, the 2 boys tried to talk her in to a sports car, she told them she was buying a Pontiac Bonneville, but, she would let them pick the options. She gave them the option list, They listed the 421 with tri power, convertible, bucket seats and console, 8 lug wheels. She ordered the car. In 1969, she passed away, now the 2 boys are in their early 20's, they go to probate court, get in a fist fight in the court room over the car. The judge then ordered the car to be stored until they came back to him and decide what they wanted to do with it. 5 years ago, the oldest was killed in a car wreck, the other one took possession of the car, and by then, he didn't want it. he commissioned the broker to sell it for him, he called me, told me about it and sent me pictures." I bought the car, had it shipped. when the car arrived, it still had the 69 tag on it, which I still have, it had brand new tires that was purchased in 69, with the paper sticker on them. THE TIRES ARE J C PENNY PINTO, never heard of jc penny tires.
Due to sitting all those years in a storage building, I removed the engine, transmission, and carbs, had all of them rebuilt, stripped the body to bare metal, repainted the factory color, replaced front seat covers, carpet, installed a new black cloth top. Every thing else is factory original. It has power top, power windows, that work great. This car does not know what rust is, NONE. When the body was stripped for paint, I sent all chrome off and had replated. some has small pits, and not perfect. And the chrome shop lost the narrow piece that goes just und the deck lid. It also has new exhaust. Any questions, call 601-953-4688
