1984 Pontiac Fiero Additional Info:
After years of owning Fieros and owning my last one since 2008, I have decided to sell it. It is a 1984 base coupe, originally from California, I am the third owner, the last owner had it since 1988. It has been garage kept by me and previous owner. It is a 4 cyl, 4 speed, not the econo transmission. No power options. I had planned to do a V8 conversion but there's just too many things going on in my life right now and I have to part with this car. It has potential, a great candidate for an engine swap. There is about 150K miles on car and engine, about 100K on rear suspension from the 1988 Fiero.
The Good:
- 88 rear cradle with factory anti-sway bar
- Rear coilovers
- 88 brake upgrade including 88 master cylinder and working 88 E brake
- Front brakes are Corvette 11" (I think) rotors with custom brackets to hold the 88 Fiero calipers. This car really stops.
- New clutch (only 10K or so on it)
- Autometer gauges on custom center mounted gauge pod (oil, volt, vac)
- 88 cluster with 120 mph speedo
- Factory sunroof
- Tilt wheel
- Trunk opener
- 16" Scion rims
- Rebuilt Rack and pinion
- new bushings and ball joints in front (only about 10K on them)
- New Radiator
- New rear wheel bearings
The Bad
- Engine has bad head gasket and to be very honest, the engine is tired. It has already been overhauled at about 100K miles
- Cracked front windshield
- Seats are ripped up ( they do have the speakers in headrests tho).
- Sunroof needs a new gasket
- no radio
