1971 Pontiac Ventura Additional Info:
1971 Pontiac Ventura No Reserve . Here is my Project Car. I had the entire engine rebuilt a year ago. Its under warranty. It have been setting in my garag, I have put less than 50 mile on it. It also has a new carb, distributor, new starter, new, blank plate for the fan delete, new traction bars, new Chevy mirro, new gas pedal cable, new door seals, new aluminum radiato, new front and back bumper still in the boxes, and others odds and ends. I have no time to work on the car all it does is sit. I have not started it in 6 months. Tried the other day the battery was pretty dead. Got her runnin, She ran but seemed like she needs the timing adjusted or may just the gas is getting old. The body is pretty good over all. You can tell it was an up north car at one time. The quarters have some bondo shown in the pictures and there are various small spots here and there as seen in the pictures. The floor and trunk pans have some armature patches and some good areas. I would replace the Quarter, trunk pan and floor pans if you want it perfect. Some one welded some rods on the sub frame to the back, I'm guessing to stiffen the ride, but the welds can be girded of and the rods pulled off. The Trunk lid in new, the tail pan is ne, but not installed great, should be replaced. Interior is all there . It is Blue in good/ fair shape, but needs a good cleaning. Dash is cracked, head liner is missing, Glass is all good, Doors work fine, but the drivers handle needs a new button. I have camaro rim and tire on the car to move it around they are fair, but it also come with a nice set of original PDM rally style Pontiac rims. Please understand this is a project car. You convert it to a Nova if you like or keep it a Ventura like I was going to do. My reserve is less that what I paid to get the motor rebuilt. So you can buy the motor and get the car free : ) It will need to be towed home. Good luck bidding . Thanks
