Sadly I must list what I thought would be the classic car that I would never part with.....but, a newer car for my 16yr old daughter must take priority.
Up for your consideration is an absolutely beautiful, all stock, 1980 Turbo Trans Am in its factory Claretcolor - the factory build sheet will be included as well.
This 1980 Turbo Trans Am has the numbers matching 301 Turbo motor in her - the previous owner had verified that the 64K+ miles were correct.
The vehicle is driven every day and starts up, stops on a dime and has never given me a problem whatsoever.
Below is the list of the factory options she came with, which is virtually every possible option you could order in 1980:
- T Tops
- Tilt Steering Wheel
- Power Windows
- Factory Air Conditioning
- Power Steering
- All 4 Power Disc Brakes
- Power Door Locks
- Center Console with lid
- WS6 Performance Suspension Pkg
- Turbo 4.9L Engine (345 lbs of torque!)
- Pulse Windshield Wipers
- SE Gold Turbo Wheels
- SE Gold Graphics
- Turbo Bulge Hood
- Cruise Control
- Posi Traction
- AM/FM Stereo Cassette Tape Player
As you can see from the pictures, she looks and drives amazing - the car honestly floats down the road with the newer suspension technology that came out in 1980.
The interior looks fantastic for its age. All lights and gauges work but the tach and cruise are not hooked up - horn, intermittent wipers, blinkers and lamps work great and are bright. The AC blows but not cold. The power windows work flawlessly but the power locks need new switches.
The body is beautiful and I have not found any rust shy of a tiny spot - the paint looks amazing with only a handful of small imperfections - the trunk looks great and has the GM T Top covers as well which are VERY useful to protect the glass.
I have a clean Florida title in my name in my hands - this car is for sale locally as well.
Please email me with ANY and ALL questions PRIOR to bidding. I am NOT a body guy nor am I a mechanic, I just love to drive old classic cars with my family!
Thank you and GOOD LUCK!
