Provinance:
This 1972 Pontiac Trans Am survivor is very rare due to the factory shut-down in April of 1972. Manufacture date is January of 1972 out of the Norwood, Ohio, plant and my uncle purchased the vehicle in February off the showroom floor at Quality Pontiac in Albuquerque, NM. He is unable to drive it anymore and it needs to be with someone who appreciates this classic muscle car (which has lived its whole life in New Mexico). We have the original title issued April 3, 1972.
Condition:
Yes, this is the original paint. All original parts are here. Starts easily, runs good. Uncle changed the carburetor within the first few years but we saved the original in a box. Some suspension parts were changed out in the 90’s but all original parts were kept. Front grill guard was repainted in the 70’s due to paint chips from road debris. Stored in a climate controlled shop since 1976. Drivers seat has sun damage where it is near the window (adhesive residue from old duck tape repair makes it worse). Some cracks in the dash are also from sun. We also have the original window cranks but one is damaged.
