1988 Pontiac Fiero GT Additional Info:
I bought this car new in 1988. When the car reached 100,000 miles I decided to do a V8 conversion using the V8 Archie kit. I built a small block Chevy 406 cubic inch street engine and had Jim Paquet Transmissions build a custom automatic transmission.
The car ran well but had some teething problems. The first transmission started to slip so I had a second one built with stronger parts. My first set of headers created too much heat. Consequently I pulled the engine and then the project got put on the back burner.
The engine has about 550 miles on it since the build and is still breaking in.
I started putting the car back together with a new set of block hugger headers but have not completed the exhaust system. But my wife and I will be moving out of the country in a few months and I need get rid of a bunch of stuff including this car and I've priced it accordingly.
Here is a list of what I've done so far. I have all the receipts from the car's entire history.
