1986 fiero gt LX9 3500 engine 5 speed getrag transmission

1986 Pontiac Fiero GT Additional Info:

I am selling my GT because I need money, I recently had surgery and bills piled up fast while I was unable to do any work.
I have had this car since Oct 2014 and drove it about 1000 miles per month average till this past February when I was unable to drive it due to health issues.

It has a LX9 from a 04 Malibu. The donor car had only 19000 miles on it when it was installed in 2013. You can get a detailed description of the install from this thread http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/127251.html I bought it from the guy that did the swap.

I will be honest and list the good and bad below.

GOOD
• Engine runs strong and used no oil
• AC works
• Cruise works
• Seat upholstery is perfect and is protected with quality seat covers Pics show seats without covers They have red and black leather covers on them for protection
• Headliner is perfect
• Sunroof does not leak
• Windows work fine
• Headlights work and are the newer type from an 88 model
• OEM Radio W/ EQ works fine
• snowflake wheels

• larger brakes and master cylinder from a Cadillac Seville

BAD
• Clutch is weak and needs replaced (quoted $500 labor at local shop)
• Paint is far from perfect
• Interior is fair with a crack in the dash and other smaller issues (not show quality)
• Parking brake cable broken
• Rear taillights have started to delaminate
• Right front parking light reflector needs replaced
• Passenger door outside handle needs adjusted (it will not open the second latch)
• Tires are fair at best and will need replaced soon
• Steering wheel is not OEM it is a Grant GT
• Horn button was not hooked on the steering wheel
• Wipers work but when turned off will not stop at bottom till they are turned off and on a few times.
• Gas gauge only works from ¼ down

Please note that it will need a clutch, it is driveable but the clutch slips in higher gears under hard acceleration, I would trust it on a 1000 mile trip if it is not driven hard.

It will also need a paint job, the pics make the paint look better than it actually is.

I am pricing it at my lowest price, I will not take a penny less and I am not looking to trade.

I prefer local pickup and cash in hand but I am willing to ship if buyer is a long time eBay member and resides in the United States.

If buyer is a new registered (less than 12 months) member CASH ONLY at pickup
