The big news for 1970 was a special Hurst SSJ version a semi-custom conversion with an electric sunroof, gold colored wheels and a Hurst Shifter, the SSJ started life as a J Model (the vinyl accent stripes on SJs were incompatible) built by Pontiac, then sent to Hurst. All 272 care were painted either starlight black (code AA) or Cameo white (code CC) Interiors were black, Ivory or Sandlewood in cloth or all morrokide, mandatory options included body-color, sport mirrors, G78x14 whitewalls and Rally II wheels. The space saver spare and ride & Handling package were recommended. After assembly the cars were shipped to Hurst Plant in Southfield, Michigan where frost gold accents were applied to the hood, side windows, front of roof and Rally II wheels. a Landau-style half-top (antique white, white or black) as installed as was a steel electronically operated sun-roof. Similar to that used in the Cadillac Eldorado.

I have to apologize for ending the auction and then relisting the auction, the reason for this is that Hurst SSJ was not showing up in the search results, no-one knew what it was unless they clicked on it, so eBay techshelped me fix the problem last evening and because there was one bid,the auctionhad to end before they could help me add on those two words. My apologies to anyone that may have been put-out by this mistake that I made.
