100% RUST FREE CA CAR
NON SMOKER
ONLY 47K ORIGINAL MILES
Here is a really neat find. For some reason, these 1st produced fourth generation Trans Ams are seemingly difficult to find, especially in any sort of original or good condition. As I am posting this, there are no other 93 T/A's or Firebirds listed and none to be found in the 'completed listings' either. This car is in exceptional condition and finished in the most desirable color combination of Flame Red over Graphite leather. I purchased it from an estate in California where the car had been sitting for many years. I put a brand new Interstate battery in it and also a brand new set of Falken performance tires as the ones on there had good tread but were old and dry so for safety I went with a new set. The nose of the car had some damage from storage so I had that professionally refinished as well. Aside from those few things, this car appears to be 100% original with absolutely no modifications, performance parts, exhaust systems or any stereos or anything else, just the way you want to find one. The car runs and drives but I would suggest a tune-up and a complete service if you plan on driving it much as I have mentioned the car has sat for some time. The car is quite complete with all the original keys, remotes, floor mats and owners book. Please take the time to review the 75 + photos below including several of the undercarriage that show the car is corrosion free and has never suffered any damage.
The body of the car is very nice, as you know, only the rear quarter panels are steel and they do not show any dings or dents. There is a very fine scratch on the passenger door about 4" but other than that it all looks very nice, not even a stone chip on the front of the car. Glass is all original and clear with no aftermarket window film. The rear tail-lamps have the usual aging along the top but are all intact and fully functional. Fog lamps and headlamps are also all there and working properly. Falken tires are brand new and they are mounted to the original alloy wheels which are all in good shape.
The interior of the car is very nice for it's age, dash panel is all nice with no cracks or missing pieces, dash vents are all good etc. Door panels are excellent, rear seats look like they have not been sat on and only the driver's seat shows minimal wear. Console, headliner and visors are all intact and look nice. The rear struts that hold the hatch up are weak, the steering wheel controls for the radio are not responding but other than that everything is functioning including the air conditioning, radio, power windows, gauges, cruise etc. The car smells nice inside, it was owned by a non smoker so it has that nice leather smell with no musty or pet odors either.
The car runs and drives quite well but feels like it will need a good tune-up. Engine starts quickly and easily with no knocking or ticking noises, transmission shifts like it should and the car holds the freeway nicely, rear end sounds good as well. The car has not exhibited any leaks and there are no check engine lights on in the dash.
In all you will not likely find another car quite like this, it is really nice and complete with a clean CarFax history. Corrosion free examples with low mileage are increasingly difficult to find and I apologize to east coast and mid-west sellers but our southwest cars are arguably always worth a little more as they are usually much cleaner and devoid of any undercarriage rot. I think the car is worth more than my asking price but I was able to buy the car quite reasonably so I'll pass that savings on to you. At $8950 for a Pontiac that is no longer built, in the right colors with the right miles it should be a no-brainer but I know we like to deal a bit so I will entertain reasonable offers from serious buyers. I am happy to assist with transport, please call me with any questions PRIOR to making an offer at (602)315-4055. Thanks for looking at my '93 Pontiac Trans Am.
