1969 Pontiac GTO Additional Info:
Three owner 1969 Pontiac GTO in need of frame off restoration located in Slidell, Louisiana. I have stored the car for about a decade and hold a clean title ready to sign over to the next owner. My Uncle was the second owner. He bought it used from a dealership in New Orleans and was told the first owner bought it new in California, and on his trip of the USA traded it in for a new car. My Uncle ran over a fence and drove it home. He parked it in the family shed before joining the Navy. The shed needed to come down about ten years ago and I've been storing it.
The rear drum brakes are locked. I cut the emergency brake cable, but they are rusted. A carrier will NOT pickup this car up for you. You will need a trailer equipped with a winch or a flatbed to haul it away. The front wheels spin as I removed the brake pads.
The driver's side door does not open. The driver's side 'cornering light" is intact. There is a rock chip in the windshield. All other glass looks good. It's never had a carburetor while in my possession. I removed the gas tank and threw it out because there was nothing left to it and I needed to access the lock to open it. I do not have the original keys, so changed out the cylinder in order to put the transmission in N.
Similar cars with no dents go for about $10K. This one is wrecked and has lots of rust. It would be worth very little except for it has the original power train and some rare options including: hideaway headlights, 'cornering light' (and yes, the one on the driver's side IS indeed intact...) column shifter, and... BENCH SEAT.
There are variations in the photos from present condition. I cut the rotted belts off, and removed the A/C compressor in my attempt to turn over the engine at the crank with a breaker bar. I didn't put more than hand pressure, but it would not turn over. I have not attempted to pour oil or solvents into the motor. I also started removing the carpet on the passenger side and stopped when I couldn't reach all the bench seat bolts without putting my face in the grime. The valence is in the picture of the 'trunk' and I believe both valence lights are currently sitting on the roof.
All sales final. I am willing to store the car in my garage until you pick it up for up to 30 days after auction close. Payment is marked as "within 3 days of auction close" but I will accept payment being sent within 3 days if you send me tracking information. No need to waste money on overnight shipping for a piece of paper.
Thank you for looking and happy bidding!

Revision: Someone asked if 100K is the correct mileage and requested a photo of the odometer. It is not. The actual mileage is 20,773 miles. The same person asked for photos of the cornering light on the driver's side. I can provide these photos to anyone interested. Thanks.

Revision: An astute user contacted me that I am in error to assume the odometer mileage is accurate. He thinks the foot wear on the brake pedal in the picture indicates the car is actually 120K miles. I've only lived in a time of six digit odometers, so the five digit odometers rolling over to 0 is a surprise to me. As the car has a five digit odometer that would roll over to 0 miles, and to avoid any misrepresentation of the car: The true mileage is likely 120,773. My previous statement that the "actual" mileage is 20K is likely incorrect. A photo of the odometer can be provided. It reads 20,773 on black rollers, and a white roller after not quite at 8.
An interested party requested a photo of the data plate. It is not on the firewall. I understand it may have once been under the hood on the driver's side, but that area is rusted out.
An interested party asked me to find the markings on the block. They read 9790071 on the rear and YS stamped on the front. There is a number above the YS, but it is hard to make out. I will be happy to send the photos if requested. Thanks!
