hi,i have come to the conclusion that i have moved on and it is time to sell my cari have barely driven it for many years so it is time to let it go
this convertible is a non matching numbers car and it began its life as a 6 cylinderthe vin looks like a renumbered plat, but its legal and doesnt show salvage or anything
car was completely stripped and rebuilteverything was rebuilt or replace, sand blasted and painted,no wire wheel or paintbrush here
triple blue was my goa, so i had a custom blue top made,exterior color is the stock firebird color in 2 step paintinterior is also blue with dash repainted
engine is a mid seventies 400 that has been completel, reworked head, a small ca, now has tbi injection on an aluminium intake with adaptor plate,has ram air reproduction 400 cast manifolds with a fully stainless steel exhaust with X and stainless dynomax mufflersquality chrome alternator,master and booster set up,aluminium radiator with proper shroud and fan to prevent overheatingchrome oil filter with relocation kit to the front fender wellnew brake and ful line, custom fuel tank with built in fuel pump
transmission is a 700 r4 fully rebuilt with 2800 rpm stal, with cooler and a stock looking custom shifter gate for 4 speed
suspension is obviously airheidts upper and lower control arms with bags,rear is a 4 link set up with bags trunk mounted 5 gallon air tank with compressor andconsole remote controlfront and rear disc brakesdifferential is 3,42 gears out of an gmc extreme s10 pick upalso has frame connectors
fully redone interior,billet knob, DSE wiper motor,billet steering wheel mounted on tilt column,new seat cushions and covers,carpet kit with padding,new door sills,new chrome a pillar mouldings,new wheater stripping and window fuzzies,non op stock radio,never got to a sound syste, repainted upper doors and dash in original blue color but has a cracked dash pad1968 fuse box and wires wich is much better than the 67 desig, auxiliary fuse box for injection and computer on passenger side over the glove box,has remote starter and alarm with remote and door lock, all custom wired professionaly done with relays and shock switch under the consol, no bad ground issues or blowing fuses,has cruise control but not completeddash gauges wor, i did not want any more hanging aroun, hood tach workshard glass foldable windo, manual top with matching blue parade bootkick panels were never installed cause i could not make up my mind for stock or custom for sound system but i do have the originals and they will be with the car
the cons ar, no sound syste, cracked dash pad,no kick panel, long scratch on right quarter pane, no custom air cleaner,runs roughcertainly because of lack of use, starts right up even with the remote start,needs to be drive, needs an alignment
rechromed front and rear bumper, all new moulding except the top pinchweld wich was polished,new emblem, door handle, polished wiper arms
