1978 Pontiac Firebird Esprit Additional Info:
Hello!
I'm moving, so up for sale is my 1978 Firebird. It's the original 350 Chevy that came with the car, rebuilt by previous owner along with the stock automatic transmission. The motor has headers that go into an x-pipe with glasspacks, and it sounds MEAN.
The car starts right up, idles smoothly, drives great, and stops great! Take it anywhere!
Over the last couple months, I've performed the following work on the car:
-Tuned motor (timing and carb)
-New Spark Plugs
-Painted front wheel wells and upper and lower control arms
-New upper and lower control arm bushings front and rear, both sides
-New upper and lower ball joints, both sides
-New inner and outer tie rod ends, both sides
-New calipers up front, both sides
-New brake hoses up front, both sides
-New sway bar links, both sides
Paint shines up real nice, just some chips/dings/scratches here and there. Minimal rust in the quarters, and a tiny bit in the door jams (see pics). Floors, frame, and trunk are solid and CLEAN!
Interior is in decent shape. Carpet is OK, dash pad only has a couple cracks in it. See pictures!
Overall, it's a really great driver, and if I weren't moving, I wouldn't consider listing it. That being said, make me a reasonable offer, and I'll part with it. I'm also interested in trading for a nice Jeep Wrangler.
The car is located 20 minutes west of Aurora, just off of route 30 in Hinckley. About an hour west of Chicago near route 88.
Thanks for looking, and feel free to email with any questions.I work from home, and am available most days to show the car. CLEAN AND CLEAR TITLE IN-HAND!
