No Reserve last bidder takes it !
Up for grabs is a 1969 Lemans Custom S project or parts car. Now is your chance to own one of the most desirable muscle cars, yes it needs work however a very doable project with a great payoff when done. I have owned this car for about 10 years. Was going to restore this however that's not in the cards for me at this time. I havedecided to sell it with no reserve.
This was a running driving judge clone at one time then sat for years parked and some parts removed. This is an as is sale, please read the whole auction since there is an issue with the title. - 400 engine mid 70s partially disassembled, heads were removed and set back on. Most hardware push rods and rockers included. Engine was running before I removed the heads last year.
- THM375 transmission was working fine when car was disabled.
- 10 bolt 8.2 open rear end is operational.
- All glass present the front windshield is cracked.
- Missing the trunk the rest of the body panels are present.
- Hood is from other car, has rust. Installed to keep the weather out.
- Missing radiator support, I took the nose off to use on my 68 convertible. I installed the 68' chrome bumper on this car.
- Frame is good !
- Was an AC car, hole covered up with bolted in plate.
- Front drum brakes.
Rust issues, everyone has a different perception of how bad the situation is which is why I added extra picturesto the Photo link.
- Floors are not rotted out as you can see from the pictures, may be some areas here and there. Please see the many pictures.
- Fenders can be saved with lower rear patch panels.
- Quarters have some holes however salvageable in my opinion.
- Roof has some rust holes near top of quarters as well as the A pillars, see pictures.
- Does have a fair amount of body rust I tried to show everything in the pictures.
- Undercarriage not too bad since the rear had been detailed and painted at some time.
- I did have plans to patch everything with making patches and mig welding.
- Bench seat with armrest from 68' convertible Lemans included 69' rear seats included Dash is in good shape not cut anywhere, might be the best part of the car. Dashes are going for $800 and up on eBay.
Title - The buyer agrees to accept title as is. Might be easier to get a new title for it in your state according to my findings $250-$350
- Has a Kentucky title branded rebuilt
- Typo in the VIN, the last "7" should not exist on the title. I did not realize this when I originally bought the car 10 years ago from a Pontiac forum sight unseen. Lesson learned for not asking the right questions and verifying.
- See the picture of the title, I have photo shopped a picture of the VIN on to the title so you can see exactly what the situation is and where the typo is.
- Every sate has different title laws, the buyer agrees to accept the title AS IS
- Title is not in my name
- Title is open
Title summary my local tag agency said its no problem however would need to physically see the car and the title. Your experiences with titles on old cars may vary. Getting a new title is quite easy since the car is over 30 years old. Please check with a title service in your area before buying it.
Parts car or Project car you decide !
