1968 Pontiac Firebird Additional Info:
I was building it for concourse racing, but due to health, I was only able to get the mechanical done. California car with very little rust, which is highlighted in the pictures. It will start and go down the road. It is the original frame and body. It has a full length frame under it and a 4 point link setup with a narrowed 9" Ford rear end with a 3.0 gear. It has a high performance Chevy 427 ( newly built with the cam broke in ) with a 750 dual pump carburetor, .500 lift mechanical cam, forged pistons, high output oil pum, heads were port and polished, headers and internally balanced. It has a scatter shield with a saginaw 4 speed. It has been tubbed and has a fuel cell. It has 4 wheel disc/ baer brakes. It needs a wiring harness. I have the bumpers and most of the chrome and alot of the interior & exterior parts. I have electric bucket seats for the front and the original back seat. I removed the landau and it has superficial rust on the roof.
