Very good Paint, Body and Interior. Very shiny Black paint. The Gold Pin striping and Bird on the Hood are all in very good condition. Interior is very nice, no defects. The engine is an Aluminum Head LTI Engine. I was told it came from a 95 Trans AM. The Engine runs excellent. It has lots morepower, better fuel efficiency and is more reliable than the original Pontiac motor. The Transmission is the L460E 4 speed with Over Drive Automatic from the same trans Am. It has a B&M Shifter. The car was a factory 4 speed with AC Car. The clutch pedal is still in the car. I was going to pull the automatic and put in a 6 speed from a 1995 Trans AM in the car. Personal preference I still like to shift gears. On the other hand, the 4 speed OD Automatic is sure nice. It would be extra nice on longer road trips. The LT1 was in an AC car. It just needs to be set up to mate to this car's AC unit. The trunk and underside of the car are invery goodcondition and no rust. The previous owner and I have put about 8,000 miles on the car since the Engine and Trans swap. He also put on new brakes, shocks and many other parts. The car passed a very strict Missouri State Vehicle Inspection in February. The car has a Pioneer Stereo System mounted in the Trunk. A very good sound system. There were 4 Black Trans AM's at the recent Kansas City Mecum Auction. None of those cars were as nice as this one. Everyone that has seen this car at Car Shows are very impressed with its overall condition. To find a better looking and running Trans Am is going to cost a lot more than the price on this one. The car has Auto Meter Tachometer and speedometer mounted in the Dash. It looks like it was made that way. A perfect fit and better than the factory units. The Honey Comb wheels are in very good condition and have Firestone Firehawk tires mounted on them. The tires likely just have the 8,000 miles on them. They look almost new. This car is ready to go. My only reason for selling the car is that wife decided she wanted a Divorce after 43 years of marriage. I have to sell the car to buy her out of the marriage. It hurts to sell it. I was very lucky to find this good of a Black TA. I may never find another one as good as one for 2 or even 3 times the price. It will a great car for the new owner. My grandsons, my son and Iare going to be very sad to see it go. Not sure total mileage on the car.
