Dream Car Autohaus is excited to offer this 1978 #'s matching Pontiac Trans Am SE Gold Edition. This Trans Am was located in a garage of the owner who used it as a frequent driver until she took ill. The car was always well maintained and was sent to a body shop for restoration as the owner wanted to give it to her grandchildren. Unfortunately the body shop went out of business and delivered the car back to her as you see it. Prior to finding another shop the owner passed. This is a true Y88 Special Edition with the Y7 400 CU-in 220 HP 4bbl V8 with 6X heads and automatic transmission. This is a running driving car that will need to be put back together. I have all of the parts minus the windshield and one fender well. This car is very solid. The body has minor surface rust with three ares that will need attention,the passenger side floor pan, the passenger rear quarter panel and around the passenger frame for the t-top. all other areas are solid including the frame and trunk. The interior of this car is in really good condition with no damage to the dashboard and very minimal wear to the seats. The original radio is no longer with the car nor is the windshield that was broken during shipping. I have searched for the build sheet everywhere with the exception of under the as tank.
