1979 Pontiac Trans Am firebird Additional Info:
Storage find, 979 Trans am show car, een in storage most of its life. This car was built to be a show car; it was in the May 1991 Car Craft magazine (see pics). This car only has 42000 miles on it. Does run and drive, o leaks. I do have a list from builder on everything that was done to the car at the time of build. My understanding is the car was built prior to the 91 magazine, t that time the car only had 30000 miles on it, ow it has 42k. The car does have storage wear, ar still looks good and runs good, ut of course it's not brand new and has some storage wear.
Now with that being said, umbers matching, 979 trans am, 03, automatic, 71 dyers blower, ual chrome 650 holley double pumpers, lec and mechanical fuel pumps, hrome radiator support, hrome control arms, hrome steering linkage, hrome sway bars, hrome dive shaft, chrome cross member, hrome pipes, hrome ladder bars, urst lightning rod shifter, iped and plumbed for NOS, ut not hooked up, wheel disk brakes, as show parachute, as show wheelie bars, his car is not tubbed out, as back seat like original, hrome roll bar interior, he underneath of car is like brand new, o rust nowhere, ever had any rust, his car was built for show, ut don't get me wrong, t will still run. . .
With a little more TLC this car would be close to show condition again, but at this point it is a very nice driver. And don't think you can't drive it with the supercharger/blower on it, ecause you can, gain, it's mostly all show....
