Exterior body, aint and trim are showing some light wear due to age but the car still cleans up well and looks nice when washed and waxed. The chrome has some pitting but still looks nice when cleaned up using a chrome polish. This car is an amazing candidate for restoration OR can simply be detailed and used as-is.
This car was regularly started, un and driven short distances until roughly one year ago. The only reason I stopped running the car was due to a damaged battery cable that needs to be replaced and unfortunately I do not have a convenient place to make the simple repair needed to get the car back in running condition. The positive battery cable was cut in half by a mechanic who wanted to quickly remove the battery cable heat shield that bolts to the cylinder head. The new battery cable and heat shield have never been installed but is a VERY easy install and will be included with the vehicle. This was always a strong running, owerful car that started with ease and sounded and drove great. It would not surprise me in the least if replacing the battery cable and battery, aired with some starting fluid, ould get this car running again in less than an hour. Of course, t is possible that due to sitting for an extended period some additional work may be required and you should expect to have to check common wear items like spark plugs, rakes, luids, tc.
The wheel well trim has been removed by a previous owner, nd three of the four pieces of trim are stored in the trunk.
There is some rust visible in the wheel wells, ockers and doors but it is repairable.
A previous owner had some body work done (presumably for rust repair) and there are patch panels at the rear outer edge of the rear wheel wells.
Pick-up and/or delivery of the vehicle is the responsibility of the buyer but I am willing to assist however I can with loading this car onto a trailer.
Feel free to ask questions, nd I will respond as soon as possible.
Thank you for looking, nd Happy Bidding!
