I had a potential buyer ask me a few questions, so I will add them on here to clarify.
Does the a//c work? I do not know why it wouldn't, It is fully charged, but have not run the car long enough because of the engine noise.
Any rust on the car? One spot the size of a .25 to .50 cent piece and the drivers side behind door in front of rear wheel. has not gone through the body, so an easy fix at this point.
How's the glass? Do the windows work properly? The windshield is in above average shape with one rock chip that had been repaired and yes both windows work fine and as they should.
Did the mouse eat any wiring? No signs whatsoever that any wiring has ever been chewed on around the speaker or top of rear seat. All the rest of the wiring is perfect and all lights, blinkers, etc. work as they should.
Is that a dent in the front fender? Yes, the car hit a snow drift years ago and in turn, the lower valance and side valance came off. The lower valance just needs to be bolted back on, the side valance could be reattached but i would buy a new one, the dent is minimal and could be taken out using paintless dent removal.
And back to the engine thing. I got a second opinion on the engine noise yesterday and was told it is a wrist pin or rod bearing. There is no metal in the oil at this point and the noise is getting worse. The car will not be ran again til the new owner starts it. Again there is another engine that can be purchased at sales end or will be included in buy it now price.
PLEASE BID ACCORDINGLY. Thank you!
