1970 Pontiac GTO Additional Info:
Guys here is your chance to build up the GTO clone you always wanted. I bought this car running and driving and as you can see my son drove it around a while...but I thought a great father and son project would be to restore it to perfection and get rid of the floor pan/trunk rust that plagues these old cars. Again very thing worked on this car and the Matching motor was well maintained and everything worked great including power top.
Car was originally green on green. Power top 400 with auto and power windows...kinda cool.
So we disassembled it and baged every part and labeled it and carefully stored everything inside the shop.
Body wise it has NEW: Hood, Quarters front fenders, core supports, rear floor pans, and an uninstalled obviously one piece floor pan (1,200.00 for floor pan with welded supports) by it self. Also had a new front cowl installed in it, which required removal of old lemans trim tag.Has an original GTO endura bumper (that is much better than repops)
All parts I removed are stored inside and in great shape.
So net of story Son went to College and It can't hog up my garage for 5 years so your chance to own it is up.
Frame is super solid with normal pitting and some rust under transmission mount where it attached but nothing major .
Things to do: Finish floor pans and put it back together....the original motor and trans and gauges all worked along with alll the power accessories.
