The body is overall in good condition with only minor dings/dents and minor surface rust. The original flathead inline 8 cylinder is complete including the original air cleaner and will need to be rebuilt. The car also has 4 correct original full wheel hub caps. The spare tire well in the trunk is solid and not rusted out. It will need a complete interior kit, but the front and rear seats are intact. We have a set of original fender skirts and a good used lift gate that will also go with the car.
We purchased the car knowing the NADA book value for a restored #2 ’51 Pontiac 8 wagon is over $69000, so this solid Texas car is very worthy of restoration.

QUICK NOTE: I have the front door panel upper wooden sections that hold the door panel in place on the door. They will make great templates for reproductions if you wish to restore the car.
