Up for grabs is my beautiful 1981 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. New paint x5yrs in original Stardust silver (GM paint code WA7448). All original, unmolested, numbers matching car with non-turbo 301 V8 and 3 speed auto trans. All seats redone in silver vinyl. All lights work as they should. Car has 4 wheel disk brakes and it just had a complete 4 corner brake job, to include 4 NEW calipers, rotors, pads and lines- car stops on a dime. Power steering, power brakes. The prior owner said the miles are true miles but I can't confirm that. I can attest to the fact that the car starts, idles, runs and stops like a low mileage car. Never gets hot, oil pressure always good. Tires at 90% tread. No chips or cracks in glass. Rust free body, inside trunk perfect, inside engine compartment super clean- this really is a nice car. Needs exhaust work and adjustments made to the inside of both doors. They need someone who has the time to adjust the window tracks, door handles and locks- the windows go down perfectly but not always up perfectly, you have to pull a little hard on the door handles sometimes and the lock cylinders are tight. New trunk lock cylinder installed, new ignition cylinder installed and both have new keys. Car comes with new door lock cylinders/keys. AC is disconnected but all parts are included with car.New air filter. New radiator hose. Brand new battery. Fresh tune and oil 6 mos ago. Super reliable, cruises at highway speeds easily all day long. Get in and drive, would trust this car to be driven anywhere. Body: 9/10 Interior: 8/10 Paint: 7/10- So the car overall is an 8 out of 10. If you want a 10, there are several here on eBay, just be prepared to pay $30k + for it. Check around and see how these are priced, you are getting a good deal here. I would prefer cash but will consider trades- Boxster, Harley, Jeep- let me know. No projects, no Sportsters, no 4 cylinder tuners. Would consider your trade plus cash if you're looking to trade up. Car resides in York, PA- if you’re close come check it out in person. Sold as-is.
