1973 Pontiac Grand Am Additional Info:

1973 Pontiac Grand Am 4 door Colonnade sedan with 400 2 bbl. engine, automatic transmission, black interior, bucket seats, console, sport steering wheel, full gauges, a/c (clutch engages, not charged), power windows (all work), am/fm radio, power steering, power front disc brakes, sport mirrors, Rally II wheels. The car runs and drives very well. Seat belt buzzer works. NO dash cracks, No rust (southwestern vehicle), New single stage original color (Florentine Red Irid, code 74) paint, blocked/primed/sanded then wet sanded to remove orange peel. Newer tires, New battery, New black (Trim Parts) carpeting available, New (MOTOREALM) chrome wheel well opening moldings. All four chrome door edge guards and original wheel well opening moldings had no rust, solely dinged, in trunk. Very original unmolested vehicle.


The Grand Am came standard with Strato bucket seats upholstered in Naugahyde vinyl featuring recliners and adjustable lumbar support. Also included were an instrument panel from the Pontiac Grand Prix featuring a Rally Gauge Cluster with full instrumentation along with a three-spoke steering wheel with large hub and Genuine Crossfire Mahogany trim on the dash facing, radio and clock surrounds, as well as the center console between the front seats. Grand Ams were among the first U.S.-built cars to come with a turn-signal mounted headlight dimmer switch. Grand Ams featured a Radial Tuned Suspension (RTS) as standard equipment which included the radial-ply tires, Pliacell shock absorbers and front and rear sway bars for improved ride and handling. The Grand Am was one of only three GM cars to come standard with radial tires and appropriate suspension tuning in 1973.
