1988 Pontiac Firebird Formula Additional Info:
I call this a one owner car, I am the 2nd owner and bought to restore to sell from the 1st owner so I have never driven it just worked on it and it has not been on the street since 2006 as both inspection and tags on windshield dated 2006. I started the build on it in 2012 and it was a very clean car to begin with. It has sat in my storage room covered next to my Classic Restoration shop for about 3 years now. There were just a couple dings in it to fix body wise and I painted it and it has 4 coats clear on it, it has not been cut and buffed yet. Body is white and ground effects are black all the way around and these are all painted and ready. Engine Bay is cleaned and painted. I pulled posi trac, speedo, steering wheel, TA wheels, front cap, ground effects brackets and tail lights from a 1988 Trans Am and installed or to be installed for this car. It has rebuilt original auto tranny in it, never seen any fluid in it yet. All the seats were re upholstered, original crushed velvet kinda look and vynl, and have the rear bucket seats ready for install from the Trans Am and are boxed up, New rubber ready for it. Has the wing across the back spoiler. I installed new brakes, suspension, shock, struts. The 1 inch sway bar from the Trans Am instead of 3/4 inch the formula came with. Motor, is, was, TPI, is completley torn down and in boxes or wrapped and block is wrapped up on a shelf. Everything from engine Bay is boxed or wrapped and on a shelf and Everything is marked. Since the car is officially 29 years old you can put whatever motor you want in it and Tag as a Classic if you like. I have about $10, 000 of my money in it now, and for those who built or even attempted a full build you know, Many Many Hours of Labor. Motor, Interior, rubber, cab computer, if you go that route, needs to be installed. I have very good black carpet for it as well. It is a complete car and will need finished as its about 70% done as of now. Everything is there as I build classic cars for 11 years for customers and very particular about parts and bolts and such.
Selling as is. This will be a very very nice car as it's low miles and has not been on the road for about 11 years so the body has a lot of life left to it. If this is a car like your First car how cool would that be.
If car sells for asking price I will Install ground effects, Interior, rubber, rear spoiler, tail lights so basically buyer will have motor and engine bay to deal with only.
