1982 Pontiac Trans Am MSE Motor Sports Edition Additional Info:

1982 MSE Trans Am. Car is #79, "R" means it's one of about 50 made that year from mecham racing that came in red, and also within the first 100 of the production run, very hard to come by. All other cars were white/black that year.
Car has a later 305 roller cam engine, runs strong. Has a 3 speed automatic transmission. Has brand new Summit Racing headers, brand new 800 cfm edelbrock AVS thunder carburetor. Engine has excellent compression, basically 135psi across the board, runs strong.
Front disc brakes, rear drum. Has all of the factory suspension pieces, including the mecham racing travel limiting straps and the big sway bars, and the 1" lower springs. Recently aligned, almost brand new tires....245s up front, 295s out back, on later 16x8 Formula WS6 rims.
Has factory gauges, all work. Headlights and all outside lights work, this is a driver.

Transmission doesn't upshift into 2nd or 3rd, but goes into 1st and reverse fine....maybe filter change.
