1987 Pontiac Trans Am GTA Additional Info:

1987 Pontiac Trans Am GTA 5.7L w/ WS6 package - 56k original miles. I am the third or fourth owner. The gentleman I bought it from had purchased it through his family who owned a few car dealerships. I have owned the car for two years and driven it less than 1000 miles. It is in excellent shape with only the normal squeaks, rattles and idiosyncrasies of a 30 year old car from the 1980s. No torn seats or worn carpet. Dash is not cracked at all and the T-tops do not leak (the original T-top bags are included as well). The engine was dressed up about a year ago and I still have all the OEM parts. New stainless Magnaflow muffler was installed last year. New alternator installed last year. Radiator flushed and filled within 6 months. Headlights work fine and fog lamps were replaced earlier this year.
It is a great looking car and few Trans Ams of this era are in this condition, even fewer GTAs. I get lots of compliments on it at local car shows; most people comment about how clean it is. It is definitely a great cruise in show car and with a small investment it could be great show car. It runs strong and sounds great. I have used synthetic oil since I have owned it. It has been garaged and covered when outside. I will include the CoverCraft waterproof cover as well.
Full disclosure points:- Aero spoiler does have some slight warping but you cannot see it beyond about 10'. Very common on these cars.- Car was repainted by the previous owner but was painted with the original factory color.- Could use an A/C service.- Could use a brake service within the next 10k miles.- Classic GTA wheels have a few curb scrapes but not bad. Very clean w/ no oxidation.
The good stuff:
5.7 liter (350) L98 V-8, factory 235 hpWS6 Performance Handling Package w/ 4 wheel disc brakes3.23 posi rear end w/ 4-speed automatic3” Magnaflow exhaustToyo Proxes tires - approx. 50-60% tread life remaining.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for looking.
Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction if it sells.
