1977 Pontiac Trans Am
Beautiful 1977 Trans Am for sale. Matching numbers engine and 4-speed Transmission. 76,000 original miles. Original Posi Rear end. with 3.73 gears.
Exterior:
Candy Brandywine painted about 15 years ago but still holds up todaywith 1979 Trans Am decals I just liked the bigger bird so I went with them. Trim tag says original color was black.
Doors shut smooth, nice gaps all around. Car is not twisted.
No dents, some small scratches and imperfections. Some small bubbling in about 3 areas but hasn't changed since I had it.
Have done many car shows with it. Always gets complements on the color and style.
Interior:
Interior used to be a Red but changed over to a Tan color.
No rips or tears in the seats, just a few minor imperfections but nothing major. All the gauges work except for the clock.
Engine/Transmission:
Original 6.6 Liter Pontiac 400 with 76,000 miles. Still a strong running cars, haven't had any problems with it. Very small leak in manifold but hardly noticeable. Strong running engine, she likes to go fast!
Original Borg-Warner 4-Speed Manual shifts very nicely.
Upgrades:
Newer suspension and shocks make her drive very smooth.
Replaced original exhaust with new Flowmaster true dual exhaust with new dual chrome tips.
Fully detailed just this summer.
New Hurst Dazzler Wheels with 8 in. tires in the back and 7 in. in the front. I also have the original wheels that go along with the car as well as seen in the pics.
There are a few bubble spots on the paint and a few chips on the flares and around the car, no it's not perfect but it's not bad either. The heater/AC does not work, blows but does not heat or cool. I haven't needed either so never got it fixed.
ALWAYS stored, never seen winter and barely seen rain.
