1969 Pontiac Firebird Additional Info:
NO RESERVE!!! INTERNATIONAL BUYERS WELCOME! I CAN BE REACHED AT (76O) 8O5-8038. PLEASE CALL WITH ANY QUESTIONS. I will be happy to do a Buy It Now for serious buyers. My dog Johnny Cash would not be included in the sale for all of the money in the world. This is a 1969 Pontiac Firebird convertible.Pontiac 350c.i. V-8 with a very rare factory 4 speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter and reverse lockout. I believe it is the original matching #s block, but please verify for yourself.A Camaro is relatively easy to find.A first generation Firebird convertible is getting difficult to find, let alone one that is priced reasonably. Power steering, power top, bucket seats, center console. This is not a show car and it is not priced like one. That being said, it is a solid car. The floorboards, trunk pan, and frame rails are in beautiful condition and have no rust. The original cocktail shakers are still in place in the trunk and it still retains it's original splatter paint. It was originally Verdoro green. It is a Los Angeles built California car. The car is straight. It does have some rust bubbles on the front of the hood, which did not bother me because I had planned on replacing it with a factory 400 hood with a tach anyhow. There are also some bubbles at the bottom of the quarters but certainly nothing heavy. Easily fixed and especially if you were to paint it. Factory Rally II wheels. The car runs well and shifts well. The brakes pull slightly so I would address that before driving it daily or any long distance. The bumpers are in nice condition. The center console was professionally restored. The interior is original except for the padded dash which has been re-done. Factory AM radio. Black convertible top. The back window is fogged. CA blue license plates. Clean, clear California title in hand with current registration good until 2017. If the car doesn't happen to sell I am going to do a high dollar Pro Touring build on it starting soon. If you want a good Firebird ragtop, this is an excellent opportunity. I am located in Cardiff, California in North County Coastal San Diego. Thanks! BID TO WIN!!
