1975 Pontiac GRANDVILLE Additional Info:

BODY SHOP FIND,I HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THIS CAR FOR 30YRS. ORIG. BLUE, WHITE DELUXE INTERIOR,455,LOADED, PWR WINDOWS,SEAT,LOCKS,TILT,CRUISE,AM-FM 8-TRACK,PWR TRUNK,REAR SWAY BAR, MAY HAVE A POSI, CHECKING TODAY,RALLY WHEELS,A/C,RARE REAR WINDOW BLOWER DEFOG,IN DASH CLOCK,FACTORY GUAGE CAR, OIL,TEMP,ALT. THIS IS THE STORY, I GREW UP KNOWING THIS FAMILY OWNED BODY SHOP,MY DAD WAS GOOD FRIENDS WITH THE OWNER, THEY DID HUNDREDS OF FRAME JOB REPAIRS FOR MY DAD,THEN ME,OVER THE YEARS, AS WE WERE IN THE CAR BUSINESS,AND I STILL AM, JUST DOING MOSTLY RESTORATIONS AND REPAIR NOW.THE OWNER DROVE THE CAR IN THE SUMMER AND THE 35K SHOWING MAY BE ORIGINAL,BECAUSE HE BOUGHT THE CAR ALMOST BRAND NEW AND ONLY DROVE IT FROM HOME TO THE SHOP WHICH WAS ONLY ABOUT A 15/20MIN.DRIVE- LOWER REAR QUARTERS GOT SOME WEAK SPOTS ON THEM, SO IT WAS PARKED, HIS 3 SONS, ALL WORKING AND RUNNING THE BODY SHOP TOLD HIM THEY WANTED TO RE-DO THE CAR FOR HIM, WELL...THINGS GOT OUT OF HAND, THE OLDEST,WHO IS VERY GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES, DECIDED TO GO ALL OUT. THIS IS WHAT HE DID-HE INSTALLED FACTORY GM OUTER WHEEL WELLS, THEN NEW GM FULL CONVERTIBLE REAR QUARTERS, TRY TO FIND THOSE NOW, THEN HE INSTALLED BOTH DOOR SKINS,NEW GM,THEN, YUP, BOTH FRONT FENDERS,NEW GM, THEN, NEW GM DECK LID, I SAW THIS CAR AS HE WAS DOING ALL OF THIS, FIRST OFF, THE WORK IS DONE WELL,DONE RIGHT, SEAM SEALER AND FINISH WORK AND IT IS HIGH QUALITY WORK. ALSO, HIS BROTHER PATCHED SOME AREAS ON THE FLOORS, I WOULD RE-DO THIS AS THEY SELL FLOOR PNLS FOR THIS CAR,BUT IT LOOKS GOOD AND WAS DONE WELL AND COULD BE LEFT ALONE.THE TRUNK FLOOR IS ORIGINAL, AND ABSOLUTELY PERFECT,I MEAN IT IS PERFECT. THE FRAME IS IN SUPER NICE SHAPE, NO HOLES OR WEAK SPOTS, JUST HAS SURFACE RUST IS ALL,NOT ALL SCALY.THE POWER TOP DOES WORK, AND AS YOU SEE IN THE PICTURES, EVERYTHING IS THERE, I MEAN 99.9% OF EVERY PIECE. IF ANYTHING IS MISSING, IT IS SMALL. THE SEATS ARE A 9 OUT OF 10, CLEAN THEM UP,PUT THEM IN,THEY ARE WHITE, AND IN NEAR PERFECT SHAPE, DOOR PNLS ARE ALL THERE,FRONT AND REAR, NEAR PERFECT,ALL TRIM,ALL CHROME,ALL EVERYTHING. THE ONLY THING I DNT HAVE IS THE BUMPERS, AND I AM WRKING ON 1 OF THE SONS TRYING TO FIND THEM IN STORAGE. FOR SOME STUPID REASON, THE OLDER SON DECIDED TO PAINT THE CAR RED, DAD WAS PISSED AND TOLD HIM TO SAND IT DOWN AND DO IT RIGHT IN THE ORIGINAL COLOR, THE CAR WAS COVERED UP, AND HERE WE ARE,20+YRS LATER. THE FACTORY AM-FM 8-TRACK RADIO IS STILL IN PLACE, AND THE DASH IS PERFECT AND CRACK FREE, AND IS STILL SOFT- THE ENGINE,WELL, THIS IS ANOTHER STORY- I BOUGHT THE ORIG. ENGINE 20+ YEARS AGO, THE SHORT BLOCK, BECAUSE THEY BOUGHT A 73 DATED SR-455 HO 4 BOLT MAIN SHORT BLOCK FROM THE PONTIAC DEALER, SAID THEY WANTED THE CAR TO RUN FOREVER.. THE TOP OF THE ENGINE IS ORIG. TO THE CAR. THE ENGINE HAS BEEN REMOVED,BUT, ALL A/C, ETC, ARE ON THE CAR. IF THIS CAR BRINGS WHAT I WANT, I WILL "GIVE YOU" THE ORIG. HEADS, INTAKE,EXH.MANIFOLDS,ETC, AND PUT THEM IN THE TRUNK, AS THE ENGINE IS GOING IN MY 76 455 4 SPEED TRANS AM AND I AM USING DIFFERENT HEADS,INTAKE,ETC.THE TRANS STAYS WITH THE CAR, AND SHIFTS PERFECT. THE RESERVE IS WHAT THE DOORS,AND NEW GM QUARTERS ARE WORTH, SO, FIGURE IT OUT, I DNT WANT A FORTUNE FOR THE CAR AS THEY ARE NOT GOLD, NOT YET, BUT, GO FIND A SET OF NOS DOORS,QUARTERS,FENDERS,DECK LID,AND SEE WHAT YOU WILL PAY..OUCH- 300$ PAYPAL DEPOSIT WITHIN 48HRS OF AUCTION END, BAL. DUE BY CASHIERS CHECK, WIRE, OR CASH AT TIME OF PICK UP WITHIN 5 DAYS OF AUCTION END.I WILL HOLD CAR FOR UP TO 15 DAYS FREE ONCE CAR HAS BEEN PD FOR, UP TO 30 DAYS FOR AN ADDITIONAL 50$. FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS AND THANKS FOR LOOKING- NOTICE TO BUYERS, IF RESERVE IS MET, AND YOU ARE INTERESTED, FOR 300$ OVER SELLING PRICE I WILL INSTALL A REBUILT, LOW MILE 1974 PONTIAC 350 WITH A SMALL CAM, HOLDS OVER 60PSI OIL PRESSURE DRIVING. VERY GOOD RUNNING ENGINE, I JUST DID AN ENGINE SWAP FOR A CUSTOMER IN A 63GP AND PULLED THIS OUT TO INSTALL A BUILT 400,JUST PUTTING THAT OUT IF INTERESTED, THAT WAY THE CAR WILL MOVE- ALSO, CAR COMES WITH A CLEAR TITLE-
