Toda, September 10, 2016, we purchased a new battery and installed in the car. The widow could not find the keys, but I had an extra ignition switch and key. I unplugged the dash harness and plugged in my switch. The engine turned right over. I added some gas to the carb and it fired right up. I did that a few times. Then we disconnected the fuel pump from the incoming line and ran a rubber line to my gas can, and ran the car for 1/2 gallon of gas. No smoking, knocking or clanking. I have videos available of the start up, butI don't know how to add them to this ebay ad.
I was also surprised that the a/c blew cold. If the car was available for me to work on at my home, I'm certain I would be driving it around the neighborhood after changing the rubber fuel line. I did notice the fitting at the front of the carb was dripping. I didn't take a picture of the carb, but I'm 99% certain it is the original piece.
