Owner’s Description

“This 1971 Plymouth HEMI ‘Cuda Restomod Shaker is a fully rotisserie-restored, high-end build that combines iconic Mopar styling with modern performance and drivability. Originally born as a 340 automatic car, it has been professionally transformed into a true performance machine powered by a 528 HEMI engine built with Stage V Engineering aluminum heads and intake, custom machining by Tim Banning’s FHO, a roller camshaft, Milodon external oiling system, and a custom high-volume oil pan. The engine was built by respected Mopar specialist Grays Machine in Tigard, Oregon.

The body was completely acid dipped to bare metal during the rotisserie restoration, with minimal rust repairs required and fully completed. The chassis and structure have been significantly upgraded with XV Motorsport reinforcement, including radiator core support bracing, cowl reinforcement, and inner fender strengthening, along with full subframe connectors tying the car together for increased rigidity.

Performance upgrades continue underneath with RMS AlterKtion front suspension, power rack-and-pinion steering, Wilwood drilled and slotted disc brakes front and rear with integrated parking brake, and a strengthened 8¾ rear end with Moser axles. Exhaust is handled by a full TTI ceramic-coated system from headers to polished tips, delivering both performance and sound.

Power is delivered through a Tremec TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission with hydraulic clutch and pistol grip shifter, making this classic Cuda both powerful and highly drivable. The restoration included full disassembly, structural enhancements, and precision bodywork, resulting in a deep, glossy black finish with exceptional fit and finish throughout.

All gauges, lights, interior, and exterior trim are fully functional and in excellent condition. The custom offset wheels give the car an aggressive, muscular stance that perfectly complements its performance-oriented build.

This is not a quick flip—it has been in my ownership for approximately 12 years and has evolved gradually over that time into the car you see today. It is a top-tier HEMI Cuda restomod that consistently draws attention and has won at every show it has been entered in, blending legendary Mopar heritage with modern engineering, reliability, and presence.”
