Few American muscle cars are as recognizable as the 1969 Plymouth Road Runner. Built during the height of the horsepower wars, the Road Runner earned its reputation by delivering big-block performance with a no-nonsense attitude.
This example has undergone mechanical, body, and cosmetic work and is powered by a rebuilt 440 cubic-inch V8 backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. While a substantial amount of work has already been completed, the car should be considered a running and driving project rather than a fully sorted, turn-key restoration.
This Road Runner has fewer than 100 miles since being put back together and has not yet gone through a complete shakedown and sorting process. Some mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic items remain to be addressed, all of which are outlined below. We have priced the car accordingly and are offering it as-is for someone who wants to finish the sorting and enjoy the car without starting a build from scratch.
