Vehicle Details
This is no reserve auction.Clean title, vin tag present along with the fender tag. Here we have 1968 Plymouth satellite that has been upgraded long ago with a 383 V8, 727 automatic transmission 8 3/4 355 sure grip differential, the Roadrunner hood, dual exhaust. The car started life as a basic 318 car. The car has been stored in a garage parked for the last 20 years. The 383 has an aluminum intake and Demon carburetor, holds good oil pressure and sounds good, the transmission goes and gear and the car will drive, but I haven't taken it out on the highway, because the brakes feel weak, spongy, however they do stop fair in the parking lot. This car was cloned into a Roadrunner long ago.it has had both rear quarter panels replaced at some point and it has also had a trunk pan replaced. And it has had one repaint, It's a nice looking car from about 5 feet, and would look nice driving down the road, but the paint does show its age, and there is a small amount of rust bubble near the end of the vinyl top and some where the quarter meets the rocker panel, but for the most part it's pretty solid, and with a little TLC and time this would be a very nice driver, weekend warrior,to Cruz and enjoy,I'd give the paint a 5 overall, the interior is in pretty nice shape, also there's a triple gauge set up,a tach, and it has a B&M racing shifter. I got the car from an Estate,I was told that the car had been in the family and bought new,and the father passed the car down to his son many years ago and he wanted a roadrunner but couldn't afford one so he turned this car into one,as close as he could get it.For a 68 model the car is pretty nice shape and with some attention and TLC it would be pretty easy to have it roadworthy. the lights, heater fan, horn, wipers work.the tires are good the interior is very good. Only a Mopar guru would know it's not a real Roadrunner.hood, trunk doors all open and shut nice, all the glass is in descent shape along with the grille and trim work, the rear bumper does have a bit of rusty spots showing. Questions please ask.I require a 500.00 non refundable deposit immediately after the auction ends and full payment within 7 days, the car stays in my possession until my bank can guarantee the money is legit. Car is being sold as is where is,and buyer is responsible for the shipping and transport cost.
