1956 Plymouth Belvedere - One Family Owned - V8 Push-Button Automatic-73K Miles - Beautiful Red/White
This Plymouth Belvedere 4 Door Sedan, one family owned since new, is powered by a smooth V8 and equipped with a push-button automatic transmission. Finished in a stunning red and white two-tone, this always garaged, well-preserved classic has just 73,510 original miles and retains its original owner manual and clean title. A rare opportunity to own a classic that captures the style, optimism, and driving experience of mid-century America.
This car has been recently tuned up by a vintage car restoration shop and runs and drives well. It has also been outfitted with a set of New Whitewall tires. This Belvedere presents exactly the way a classic should - honest, well cared for and full of character. The paint shines, the chrome is bright, and the fins give it that unmistakable 1950s look that turns heads everywhere it goes.
This Plymouth has been part of our family since new as it was purchased by my grandfather. Following the passing of my parents, I am in the process of liquidating their estate. This car was always well cared for, garage kept, and enjoyed. It deserves to go to someone who will appreciate and preserve it.
Plymouths were treated to a major overhaul for the 1955 model year. This was the first year of Chrysler stylist Virgil Exner's "Forward Look". The Belvedere returned as top-of-the-line with miles of stainless trim and beautiful front and rear styling cues. For 1956 Plymouth styling evolved - most notable would be the introduction of the first push-button automatic transmission in American automobiles and a more dramatic rear-end treatment highlighted by a pair of rakish fins!
This automobile comes with 3 extra tail lights in the trunk. It can be picked up in Chattanooga TN. Payment method: certified check or cash upon pickup.
