1970 Plymouth Fury Additional Info:

1970 Plymouth Fury Gran Coupe Walnut Irid Metallic w/Paisley Vinyl Top & Paisley Inlay Interior! Hideaway Headlights! Hood Turn Signals!383 V8 Automatic 8 3/4 3:23Numbers-matching original 383 freshened years ago with a 440+6 Cuda cam & 4BBL Carb. Automatic Trans does have 2800 stall-speed converter. Magnaflow exhaust behind stock manifolds. Aluminum Radiator. Mopar Orange Ignition Box & Distributor. HiJacker Adjustable AirShocks. Other than those things, car is original, all original sheet metal and not cut up or molested.Weld Racing WeldStar Custom Aluminum Wheels w/ 255/70 & 225/70 Cooper Cobra RWL Tires. Original Rallye Wheels and OEM-style whitewall tires included (as seen on car in some photos).Gorgeous paint and finish (one repaint), very clean body for a 55+yr old car (one bubbling spot on lower pass side lower rocker panel and a small bubble cluster under paisley top - see pic collage, one paint chip/ding near top rail by DR door glass - see pic), clean underneath, good frame and extensions. Very clean interior - one small tear in DR door panel and one tear/sag in headliner by rear window (see pic collage), no cracks in dash or tears in any of the seats. All trim in good shape, chrome bumpers are in mint condition, new fuel tank. Vinyl top is in excellent condition. All glass in very good shape and windows roll down with ease. Hideaway headlights work well, all lights and turn signals work. Two Broadcast/Build Sheets in good condition!Overall good condition, an unrestored original with tastefully upgraded drivetrain. Expect random imperfections - it is original and not restored so if you’re a white glove and magnifying glass evaluator - save your time, price point would be triple if it were restored. This is an unrestored driver in mostly original condition other than one repaint years ago that as you can see if sharp enough to stand tall at car shows. Starts right up, sounds great, drives beautifully.
This is a STEAL and a great investment for what this car is - an opportunity to own a ‘70 Gran Coupe doesn’t come along often, believe me I can attest to that. Here’s YOUR opportunity. Try and find another one and if you do, it’s a parts car. Rare one here folks. This is the exact Fury my father had when I was growing up and was my first experience with a car as I’d play in it and dream of driving and it sparked my passion for cars and anything with wheels really…and it is my birth year Fury! This is an As-Is Sale - no warranty on a 55 yr old vehicle folks. They have their quirks, but this one is a turn key driver and everything works to my knowledge. I haven’t had opportunity to drive or take to shows much in recent years. It’s been a joy to own and won’t be a joy to sell, but will be a consolation to sell to someone who loves the Gran Coupes as much as I do as this is the 4th I’ve owned and this is the most sentimental one since it’s an exact example that I followed and chased the previous owner to sell to me for almost a decade. First owner had it 26 yrs, 2nd owner for 25 yrs until I acquired it.
As-Is Sale. Immediate non-refundable Deposit Due. Will work with transporters. No Trades. Check my Feedback.
No looky-loos, hagglers and nitpickers please. Please have funds available and ready. Car show chats and dreamers aren’t what it’s on here for either guys. Looking for the Gran Coupe enthusiast who has to have it….like I did.
Thanks!
