1971 Plymouth Barracuda BH Additional Info:

1971 Plymouth Barracuda. This coupe features a green exterior paired with a black interior. It combines classic design with modern performance. The car has an automatic transmission for a smooth ride, suitable for both daily drives and special occasions. Inside, it seats four comfortably, offering ample space. The clean title assures a well-documented history for enthusiasts or collectors.

G in the fifth position of the VIN indicates a two-barrel 318-cu.in V8 was the original engine. It has been replaced by a 1977 440-cu in V8 with a Six-Barrel induction system. It includes an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and three Holley two-barrel carburetors. Other modifications are a Comp Cams "Thumpr" camshaft and an MSD electronic ignition system. A Milodon oil pan, Magnum manifolds, and a dual exhaust system were installed. Cooling is improved by a four-core aluminum radiator and electric fan. Aluminum accessory-drive brackets and pulleys were added. The 904 TorqueFlite three-speed automatic was swapped for a heavier-duty 727 TorqueFlite. A 2.73:1-geared rear axle was replaced with an 8¾-inch Sure-Grip rear end with 3.55:1 gears. According to the fender tag, this Plymouth was factory painted in code-FJ6, Go Green Sassy Grass Green. The included fender tag breakdown lists the color as Go Green; the Dodge name for code-FJ6 is Sassy Grass Green. During the restoration, the body was repainted in Sassy Grass Green. A Performance Hood with hood pins and fenders with louvers were added. Also, a rear spoiler, 440 billboards, and a rear valance panel with openings for the exhaust were added. The paint is described as "high quality," and there is "no rust." The factory-ordered white vinyl top was removed during the restoration. The black vinyl bucket seat interior has a console with floor shifter and an aftermarket stereo. Frame connectors and traction devices at the rear were installed. Aftermarket front anti-roll bar bushings, adjustable strut bars, and tie-rod adjusting sleeves are included. This Plymouth has power steering and non-power-assisted four-wheel drum brakes. Larger-than-stock 17-inch aftermarket Rallye wheels with Toyo radial tires were mounted.
